WARRANTY
Atlas galvanised yacht cradles and stands come with a 5 year warranty against gross structural defects caused by defects of workmanship or corrosion.
The warranty covers repair or replacement of the cradle or stand.
The following are specifically excluded from the warranty.
- Rubber fitted to the pads is considered to be a consumable not covered by warranty. Replacement rubber pads can be ordered from Atlas at £2.50 each inc UK P and P.
- Minor corrosion that has no effect on structural integrity.
- Corrosion that is a result of damage sustained during life of the product.
- Defects caused by improper use, or abuse of the product.
- Failure of the cradle due to improper setting up or support.
- Failure while being used to support a vessel that the product was not designed to suit.
- Failure resulting from or contributed to by earlier damage of the product.
- Failure due to extreme whether conditions where the yacht had been laid up in a known exposed location and following had not been complied with-
- Use of storm chains
- Use of strong rope or webbing to firmly hold the boat into the cradle.
- Use of a minimum of 4 strong ground anchors (independent of the cradle)
- Where BMIF guidelines had not been followed.
