Quality-on-Time Ltd was set up in 2002 to provide a specialist quality, sourcing and project management service to industry.
Working with several capable fabrication companies set Quality-on-Time founder; Tim Bigden, to thinking of how this expertise could be used to benefit yachtsmen.

Early in 2006 Quality-on-Time Ltd partnered with an international lifting gear manufacturer, and using several design resources to produce the first ATLAS cradles. Prior to launch these initial products were subject to both in-service evaluation and structural tests.

Since the commercial launch of the Atlas Yacht Cradle brand on 1st January 2007 yacht cradles have sold from Shetland in the North, Gibraltar in the south, the west coast of Ireland and the east coast of the UK.

Following the 1st year success of Atlas Yacht Cradles and Stands the Atlas brand will be expanded to sell further boat storage products and targeted products for safe yacht maintenance.

The Atlas philosophy is to use proven materials combined with careful analysis of the stresses involved in supporting a yacht out of the water. We are also committed to a programme of continual development of our products.

Atlas is a family run business with day to day sales being managed by Cindy Coe from Tim and Cindy’s base in Ufford Nr Woodbridge in Suffolk.
